The short version

Torn has no accounts and no login. Your answers, your settings and your progress never leave your device. We do not run analytics, we do not show ads, and we do not sell anything to anyone.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

• Your language choice and your settings (sound, vibration, reminders).
• Which questions you have already played, so they do not repeat.
• Whether you confirmed being 18 or older for the age-restricted categories.
• Whether you completed the intro.

All questions ship inside the app. Playing Torn needs no internet connection and sends no requests.

Purchases

If you buy Torn Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details, your name or your address.

To keep track of what you unlocked, we use RevenueCat, Inc. (San Francisco, USA) as a processor. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID that is not linked to your identity, the product you bought, the status of your purchase, and technical information such as device type, operating system version and country. This is what makes “Restore purchases” work on a new device.

Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The transfer to the USA is covered by RevenueCat's standard contractual clauses. Details: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is scheduled by your own device. There is no push server, and no notification data reaches us. You can turn it off in the app or in your system settings at any time.

What we do not do

• No accounts, no email addresses, no passwords.
• No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising IDs.
• No third-party SDKs other than the purchase processing above.
• No profiling and no automated decision-making.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because we hold no personal data of our own, most requests concern the purchase records held by RevenueCat, Apple or Google. Write to the address above and we will forward your request. Everything stored on your device you can delete yourself: reset the progress in the settings, or delete the app.

This website

This site is static and sets no cookies. It stores a single entry in your browser's local storage to remember your language choice. It runs no analytics and embeds nothing from third parties. Your hosting provider may keep standard server logs; ask them for their retention period.

Changes

If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
