Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 August 2026

1. Who you are dealing with

Torn is operated by [Operator name], [Street and number], [Postcode and city], [Country]. Contact: [contact email].

2. What Torn is

Torn is a party game. It shows you two options and you pick one. Three categories are free without limit. The remaining categories are part of Torn Pro.

The percentages shown after a choice are estimates of how people would split, not counted votes from other players.

3. Age

Some categories contain adult content and are gated behind an age confirmation. You may only open them if you are 18 or older. Do not hand the phone to minors while those categories are in play.

4. Torn Pro

Torn Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time purchase. The current prices are shown inside the app before you buy and include VAT where applicable.

Subscriptions

One-time purchase

The one-time purchase unlocks all categories permanently for the store account used. It does not renew and cannot be cancelled, because there is nothing recurring to cancel. Use “Restore” in the app to bring it back on a new device.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us. Use the refund process of the store you bought from.

5. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

You have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For digital content that is made available immediately, this right expires once delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Because Apple and Google act as the seller, their withdrawal process applies.

6. What you may not do

The questions, artwork, name and logo belong to the operator. Using the app does not transfer any rights to them.

7. Availability and liability

Torn works offline and needs no server, so there is no uptime to promise. We may change or discontinue features, including individual questions.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damage to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only where an essential contractual obligation is breached, and then limited to the typical foreseeable damage. Liability under the German Product Liability Act remains unaffected.

Torn is a game. What you say while playing it is between you and the people in the room.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown at the top.

9. Governing law

The law of [Country] applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in.
